Seit 2013 untersucht das queerfeministische Performancekollektiv HEATHERS die Rolle weiblicher* Charaktere in Horrorfilmen, die Erzeugung unheimlicher Atmosphären sowie mediale Übersetzungsprozesse.

Mit HEATHERS‘ BLOOD FEAST: A TALK GONE FATALLY WRONG interveniert das Künstlerinnen*kollektiv an ausgewählten Terminen (→ HEATHERS‘ HIGHLIGHT) in vertraute Abläufe des SLASH Filmfestivals. Tatorte sind das Filmcasino und das Hermannbad im 7. Bezirk.

Since 2013 the queer-feminist performance group HEATHERS has been investigating the role of female* characters in horror movies, the creation of uncanny atmospheres as well as the process of translation.

With HEATHERS’ BLOOD FEAST: A TALK GONE FATALLY WRONG, the artist* collective intervenes into familiar procedures of the SLASH FILM FESTIVAL on selected dates (-> HEATHERS’ HIGHLIGHT). Scenes of scare are Filmcasino and Hermannbad in the 7th district.
